Frontline situation

Ukraine's Defense Forces managed to advance east of Oleksandrivka in the Donetsk region, according to ISW. In the Lyman area, Ukrainian forces continue counterattacks toward the eastern bank of the Zherebets River. Russian forces are attempting to contain Ukrainian gains as part of Operation Vivaldi.

According to Ukraine's intelligence agency, Russian military forces are deploying occupiers with HIV infection for combat missions at the front, even despite medical commission findings that they are unfit for service.
