Ukraine continues to weaken Russia’s military capabilities, inflicting further losses in personnel and equipment as the war enters another day.

The total Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022, to October 7, 2026, are estimated to be:

Frontline situation

Ukrainian forces continue to put pressure on Russian troops along the front, striking command posts, telecommunications infrastructure, drone and ammunition depots, and areas where Russian personnel are concentrated.

At the same time, Ukrainian troops are making gains in the Kharkiv region, clearing Russian forces from a section of forest east of Vovchansk.
