Over the past day, from October 29 to October 30, the Russian army lost 960 soldiers, 3 tanks, and 3 armored vehicles on the front lines, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to October 30, 2025, are estimated to be:

  • Personnel - about 1,140,860 (+960) Russian troops
  • Tanks - 11,305 (+2)
  • Troop-carrying AFVs - 23,514 (+3)
  • Artillery systems - 34,089 (+25)
  • MLRS - 1,531 (+1)
  • Anti-aircraft systems - 1,232 (+2)
  • Aircraft - 428
  • Helicopters - 346
  • UAV operational-tactical level - 75,707 (+340)
  • Cruise missiles - 3,880
  • Warships/boats - 28
  • Submarines - 1
  • Vehicles and fuel tanks - 65,993 (+128)

Frontline

As reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as of 10 p.m. Kyiv time on October 30, there were 157 combat clashes at the front. Almost a third of the battles were recorded in the Pokrovsk direction.

During the day, Russia dropped 87 guided bombs, launched 3,723 suicide drone strikes, and carried out 3,373 artillery strikes on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas.
