Russia's losses in Ukraine as of October 29: +1,150 troops and 20 artillery systems

Over the past day, from October 28 to 29, Russia’s army lost 1,150 soldiers and 20 artillery systems on the front line, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to October 29, 2025, are estimated to be:
- Personnel - about 1,139,900 (+1,150) Russian troops;
- Tanks - 11,303 (+4);
- Troop-carrying AFVs - 23,511 (+3);
- Artillery systems - 34,064 (+20);
- MLRS - 1,530 (+1);
- Anti-aircraft systems - 1,230;
- Aircraft - 428;
- Helicopters - 346;
- UAV operational-tactical level - 75,367 (+313);
- Cruise missiles - 3,880;
- Warships/boats - 28;
- Submarines - 1;
- Vehicles and fuel tanks - 65,865 (+79);
- Special equipment - 3,986 (+2).

For reference, according to the General Staff, over the past day, there were 148 combat engagements along the entire front line. The hottest area remains the Pokrovsk direction, where Ukrainian defenders repelled 45 enemy assaults.
In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders stopped 45 enemy assault actions in the areas of the settlements of Shakhove, Nove Shakhove, Chervonyi Lyman, Rodynske, Novoekonomichne, Lysivka, Novopavlivka, Pokrovsk, Myroliubivka, Myrnohrad, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Dachne, and Filiia.
