Russia's losses in Ukraine as of October 12: +1,240 troops and +10 artillery systems

From February 24, 2022, to October 12, 2025, the Russian army continues to suffer heavy losses on the Ukrainian front. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in the past 24 hours alone, the enemy has lost more than a thousand soldiers and hundreds of pieces of equipment, including drones and artillery systems.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has published updated data on Russian military losses as of October 12, 2025. According to the official report, the enemy has suffered significant losses in both manpower and military equipment.
Enemy losses as of October 12:
- Personnel — about 1,122,810 (+1,240) people;
- Tanks — 11,248 (+1);
- Troop-carrying AFVs — 23,345;
- Artillery systems — 33,578 (+10);
- MLRS — 1,518;
- Anti-aircraft systems — 1,225;
- Aircraft — 427;
- Helicopters — 346;
- UAV operational-tactical level — 69,010 (+244);
- Cruise missiles — 3,859;
- Warships/boats — 28;
- Submarines — 1;
- Vehicles & fuel tanks — 63,934 (+87);
- Special equipment — 3,976 (+3).
The investigation into Germany’s possible involvement in the modernization of the Russian army has once again raised the issue of Berlin’s responsibility for strengthening Russia’s military potential before it invaded Ukraine and has called into question the former strategy of cooperation for the sake of stability in Eastern Europe.
Cuba has rejected US accusations of participating in the war against Ukraine, emphasizing that Washington has provided no evidence and that such statements are an attempt to undermine Havana’s reputation on the international stage.
