Russia's losses in Ukraine as of October 2: +980 troops and +271 drones

Over the past 24 hours, from October 1 to October 2, Russian forces lost another 980 soldiers on the front. Ukrainian forces also destroyed 12 artillery systems and 29 vehicles, according to the report from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Ukrainian Armed Forces' successes on the front
Ukrainian troops continue their counteroffensive in the direction of Dobropillia. Yesterday, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, reported that over the past day, the Ukrainian forces regained control over 2.2 square kilometers of territory.
"Our assault units advanced between 100 meters and 1.4 kilometers along certain directions. During the fighting, 52 troops were eliminated here, and total enemy losses for the day reached 80 personnel," the general stated.
He also informed that since the start of the counteroffensive, the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Pokrovsk sector have managed to liberate 177.8 square kilometers of territory, and an additional 198.9 square kilometers have been cleared of saboteurs.
