Over the past day, Russian forces have lost 1,380 military personnel on the front line. In total, since the beginning of the full-scale war, Russia's losses in manpower amount to 677,180, according to the General Staff.

The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to October 19, 2024, are estimated to be:

  • personnel - about 677,180 (+1380) Russian troops;
  • tanks - 9035 (+8);
  • troop-carrying AFVs - 18,072 (+19);
  • artillery systems - 19,548 (+15);
  • MLRS - 1,232;
  • anti-aircraft systems - 978;
  • aircraft - 369;
  • helicopters - 329;
  • UAV operational-tactical level - 17 230 (+78);
  • cruise missiles - 2,623 (+3);
  • warships/boats - 28;
  • submarines - 1;
  • vehicles and fuel tanks - 26,946 (+38);
  • special equipment - 3473 (+25).

It is worth noting that Russian forces continue to intensify mechanized activity in the western part of the Donetsk region amid reports of the onset of autumn mud. The occupiers aim to ease their advance across open fields before the rainy season begins.
