Russia's losses in Ukraine as of October 7: Another 610 troops and 23 tanks
During the past 24 hours, as of October 6, Ukrainian military forces have eliminated an additional 610 Russian terrorists, bringing the total losses of enemy forces in Ukraine to 281,700 troops, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The overall Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022, to October 7, 2023, are estimated as follows:

Frontline situation
According to analysts at the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), fierce battles are ongoing in the vicinity of the railway on the southern flank of the Bakhmut direction. Ukrainian forces are advancing towards western Zaporizhzhia region. Military units are moving the frontline closer to Verbove, while Russian terrorists have reportedly suffered losses in personnel and several positions during an unsuccessful counterattack near Robotyne.
