What else is known about Russian losses
It is worth noting that Moscow conceals the losses of its occupation forces in the war against Ukraine. The Russian Ministry of Defense conceals the number of Russians killed in the war, as well as the amount of destroyed equipment.
Western partners estimate Russia's losses in a smaller number than Ukraine reports. For example, France claimed that Russia lost 500,000 soldiers (with 150 killed). Paris referred to this as a military failure.
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg stated that Russia's losses amount to 350,000, but he did not specify the number of Russian military personnel killed.
