Ukraine's forces regained control of Stepnohirsk on the Zaporizhzhia front. Military intelligence special forces carried out a series of active offensive actions to push Russian forces out of Stepnohirsk and stabilize the situation in the city.
Moreover, on May 17 and during the night of May 18, 2026, Ukrainian units struck a Grachonok anti-sabotage boat in the area of Kaspiysk — a city in the Republic of Dagestan, Russia.
