Russia's losses in Ukraine as of March 27: +1,670 troops, 108 drones, 58 artillery systems

Over the past 24 hours, on March 26, the Russian army lost another 1,670 manpower units in the war against Ukraine. Also, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed dozens of units of Russian equipment, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to March 27, 2025, are estimated to be:
- personnel - about 908,890 (+1,670) Russian troops were eliminated;
- tanks - 10,438 (+8) units;
- troop-carrying AFVs - 21,701 (+16) units;
- artillery systems - 25,265 (+58) units;
- MLRS - 1343 (+2) units;
- anti-aircraft systems - 1,118 (+1) units;
- aircraft - 370 units;
- helicopters - 335 units;
- UAV operational-tactical level - 30,926 (+108) units;
- cruise missiles - 3,121 units;
- warships/boats - 28 units;
- submarines - 1 unit;
- vehicles and fuel tanks - 42,070 (+169) units;
- special equipment - 3,787 (+1) units.
Situation at front
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 224 combat engagements took place on the frontline over the last day. Russia was putting the most pressure on the Pokrovsk sector.
“Over the past day, aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck 15 areas of concentration of personnel, a radar station and a Russian artillery unit,” the General Staff wrote.
Yesterday, March 26, the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces were advancing in the northwest of the Belgorod region.
