Russian losses in the war in Ukraine as of Tuesday morning, March 26, amounted to 1,030 occupiers, with the total number of casualties in the Russian army since the invasion beginning reaching 439,190 soldiers. Additionally, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 11 enemy tanks, 27 artillery systems, and 25 drones, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The overall Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022 to March 27, 2024 are estimated as follows:

  • Personnel: approximately 439,190 (+1,030) individuals eliminated;
  • Tanks: 6,904 (+11) units;
  • APV (Armored personnel vehicles): 13,216 (+9) units;
  • Artillery systems: 10,931 (+27) units;
  • MLRS (Multiple launch rocket systems): 1,019 units;
  • Anti aircraft warfare systems: 728 (+1) units;
  • Aircraft: 347 units;
  • Helicopters: 325 units;
  • UAV operational-tactical level: 8,578 (+25) units;
  • Cruise missiles: 2,015 (+1) units;
  • Warships/boats: 26 units;
  • Submarines: 1 unit;
  • Vehicles and fuel tankers: 14,539 (+41) units;
  • Special equipment: 1,794 (+5) units.

Frontline situation

There were 67 combat engagements on the frontlines in Ukraine during the past day. The enemy attempted to attack the Ukrainian Armed Forces on three fronts in the Donetsk region.

Particularly, as noted by the Institute for the Study of War, Russian forces advanced near the buffer zone east of Terny and near Bakhmut. Additionally, footage published on March 25 captured a strike by Ukrainian HIMARS with a small-diameter bomb launched from the ground against a Russian drone control center near Chornianka in the Kherson region.
