Russia's losses in the war against Ukraine as of Saturday morning, March 23, amounted to 1050 occupants, bringing the total number of Russian army losses since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine to 435,760. In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 75 drones and 39 missiles, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat losses of the enemy from 24.02.22 to 23.03.24 are estimated to be:

  • personnel - about 435760 (+1050) Russian invaders were killed;
  • tanks - 6852 (+12) units;
  • armored combat vehicles - 13130 (+19) units;
  • artillery systems - 10811 (+36) units;
  • MLRS - 1018 units;
  • air defense systems - 723 (+2) units;
  • airplanes - 347 units;
  • helicopters - 325 units;
  • UAVs of operational and tactical level - 8463 (+75) units;
  • cruise missiles - 1992 (+39);
  • ships/boats - 26 units;
  • submarines - 1 unit;
  • motor vehicles and tankers - 14344 (+57) units;
  • special equipment - 1769 (+19) units.

Situation on frontline

In Ukraine, on the front line, there were 69 combat engagements over the past day. The enemy is actively attempting to advance on the Novopavlivka and Avdiivka directions.

According to the Institute for the Study of War, Russian forces have advanced near Kreminna, west of Avdiivka, southwest of Donetsk, and in the area of the Donetsk-Zaporizhzhia regions border.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces are striving to maintain positions in the eastern (left-bank) Kherson region, including Krynky and near the Antonivsky bridge. Positional battles are ongoing on most fronts.
