Over the past day, from March 18 to 19, Russia lost 1,060 invaders in the war against Ukraine. Also, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 64 Russian artillery systems, 100 operational and tactical drones, and 111 vehicles, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to March 19, 2025, are estimated to be:

  • personnel - about 898,070 (+1,060) Russian troops were eliminated;
  • tanks - 10,364 (+12);
  • troop-carrying AFVs - 21,523 (+14);
  • artillery systems - 24,704 (+64);
  • MLRS - 1,320 (+1);
  • air defense systems - 1,107;
  • aircraft - 370;
  • helicopters - 331;
  • UAV operational-tactical level - 29,716 (+100);
  • cruise missiles - 3,121;
  • warships/boats - 28;
  • submarines - 1;
  • motor vehicles and fuel tanks - 41,003 (+111);
  • special equipment - 3,780.

As of the evening of March 18, 120 combat engagements were recorded at the front. Russia tried to attack Pokrovsk and Toretsk directions the most, as well as in the Kursk region.
