Russia's losses in Ukraine as of March 19: 840 troops and 30 artillery systems
During the past day, March 18, Ukrainian forces have eliminated an additional 840 Russian terrorists, bringing the total number of enemy losses to approximately 432,390 personnel since the commencement of Russia's full-scale invasion, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The overall Russia's combat losses from February 24, 2022 to March 19, 2024 are estimated as follows:
- Personnel: about 432,390 (+840) individuals.
- Tanks: 6,819 (+10) units.
- APV (Armored personnel vehicles): 13,049 (+35) units.
- Artillery systems: 10,698 (+30) units.
- MLRS (Multiple launch rocket systems): 1,017 (+0) units.
- Anti-aircraft warfare systems: 721 (+1) units.
- Aircraft: 347 (+0) units.
- Helicopters: 325 (+0) units.
- UAV operational-tactical level: 8,318 (+10) units.
- Cruise missiles: 1,922 (+0) units.
- Warships/boats: 26 (+0) units.
- Submarines: 1 (+0) unit.
- Vehicles and fuel tankers: 14,191 (+50) units.
- Special equipment: 1,735 (+4) units.
Frontline situation
According to the data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, there were 61 combat engagements on the front during the past day. The enemy continues to storm the positions of Ukrainian military in the Avdiivka and Novopavlivka directions in the Donetsk region.
As reported by the Institute for the Study of War, the Russians unsuccessfully attempted to advance along the Kupiansk-Svatove-Kreminna line yesterday. Particularly, positional battles occurred in the area of Krynky on the eastern direction of the Kherson region.
