Russia's losses in Ukraine as of March 15: +1,200 troops and 28 artillery systems

Over the past day, from March 14 to 15, Russian occupiers lost 1,180 soldiers on the front lines. Additionally, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 28 artillery systems, 97 operational-tactical drones, and 102 vehicles, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to March 15, 2025, are estimated to be:
- personnel - about 892 840 (+1180) Russian troops were eliminated;
- tanks - 10 315 (+2);
- troop-carrying AFVs - 21 458 (+15);
- artillery systems - 24 483 (+28);
- MLRS - 1,315 (+1);
- air defense systems - 1,103;
- aircraft - 370;
- helicopters - 331;
- UAV operational-tactical level - 29 133 (+97);
- cruise missiles - 3,121;
- warships/boats - 28;
- submarines - 1;
- vehicles and tanks - 40 571 (+102);
- special equipment - 3,777.
As of last evening, a total of 123 combat engagements had been recorded on the front lines since the beginning of the day. In the Pokrovsk direction alone, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 35 enemy assault attempts, with six battles still ongoing as of 10:00 p.m.
