Russia's losses in Ukraine as of March 12: +1,430 troops, 44 artillery systems

In the past 24 hours, from March 11 to 12, the losses of the Russian army in battles against Ukraine amounted to 1,430 soldiers. Additionally, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 44 artillery systems, 111 drones, and 69 vehicles, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to March 12, 2025, are estimated to be:
- personnel - about 889,050 (+1,430) Russian troops were eliminated;
- tanks - 10,306 (+3);
- troop-carrying AFVs - 21,430 (+7);
- artillery systems - 24,390 (+44);
- MLRS - 1,314 (+1);
- air defense systems - 1,103;
- aircraft - 370;
- helicopters - 331;
- UAV operational-tactical level - 28,912 (+111);
- cruise missiles - 3,121;
- warships/boats - 28;
- submarines - 1;
- vehicles and tanks - 40,274 (+69);
- special equipment - 3,777 (+2).
As of the evening of March 11, 244 combat engagements were recorded on the frontline. Yesterday, the Russian army was most active in the Pokrovsk direction.
"Since the beginning of this day, the enemy has attacked in the areas of the settlements of Vodyane Druhe, Luch, Lysivka, Novoukrainka, Zelenе, Zviryache, Leontovychi, Serhiivka, Vdale, Novooleksandrivka, Nadiivka, Preobrazhenka, Bohdanivka, Oleksiivka, Shevchenko, Kotlyarivka, and Andriivka," the report states.
