Russia's losses in Ukraine as of June 30: +1100 troops and 53 artillery systems
Russia's losses in the war in Ukraine over the period from June 29 to June 30 amounted to 1,140 occupiers. In total, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the aggressor has lost 542,700 soldiers. Additionally, during the day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 53 artillery systems and 46 unmanned aerial vehicles, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to June 30, 2024, are estimated to be:
- personnel - about 542,700 (+1,140) Russian troops were eliminated;
- tanks - 8,080 (+7) units;
- armored combat vehicles - 15,524 (+19) units;
- artillery systems - 14,533 (+53) units;
- MLRS - 1,110 (+1) units;
- air defense systems - 873 (+2) units;
- aircraft - 360 units;
- helicopters - 326 units;
- UAVs of operational and tactical level - 11,584 (+46) units;
- cruise missiles - 2,331 (+2) units;
- ships/boats - 28 units;
- submarines - 1 unit;
- motor vehicles and tankers - 19,643 (+75) units;
- special equipment - 2,448 (+11) units.
According to ISW, the Defense Forces have had success in the Kreminna area in the Luhansk region. However, the enemy has advanced near Toretsk in the Donetsk region and Kupiansk in the Kharkiv region.
Meanwhile, explosions occurred in three Russian regions last night due to a drone attack. Damage to residential and energy infrastructure was reported.
