Russia's losses in Ukraine as of June 29: +1,220 troops

Over the past 24 hours, from June 28 to June 29, the Russian army lost another 1,220 soldiers in the fighting against Ukraine. The Armed Forces also destroyed enemy tanks, troop-carrying AFVs, and artillery systems, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022, to June 29, 2025, are estimated to be
- personnel - about 1,018,940 (+ 1,220) people wounded/killed;
- tanks - 10,976 (+6) units;
- troop-carrying AFVs - 22,915 (+7) units;
- artillery systems - 29,689 (+24) units;
- MLRS - 1,425 units;
- anti-aircraft systems - 1,189 units;
- aircraft - 420 units;
- helicopters - 337 units;
- UAV operational-tactical level - 42,624 (+147) units;
- cruise missiles - 3,394 units;
- warships/boats - 28 units;
- submarines - 1 unit;
- vehicles and fuel tanks - 53,508 (+93) units;
- special equipment - 3,921 units.
The situation at the front in Ukraine
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that on June 28, the Defense Forces repelled 111 attacks at the front. The enemy exerted the greatest pressure on the Pokrovsk and Lyman directions.
According to ISW, enemy forces advanced in the area of Novopavlivka. The Russians had no confirmed successes in other areas. Ukrainian defenders advanced in the area of Lyman.
