Frontline situation

Ukraine struck deep into Russia overnight, hitting the Poltavskaya oil depot in the Krasnodar region and two major oil refineries in Ufa, about 1,500 kilometers from the front line. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the long-range attacks were a direct response to Russia's continued strikes on Ukrainian cities and efforts to prolong the war.

Also, Ukrainian forces struck three key bridges in Russian-occupied territories overnight, targeting routes used to move troops and ammunition. They also hit a Russian logistics warehouse, a command post in the Donetsk region, and two radar systems near Kerch, according to Ukraine's General Staff.
