The Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated another 1080 Russian occupants over the past day. In total, since the beginning of the Russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia has lost 527390 servicemen. Ukraine's defenders also destroyed 18 Russian armored combat vehicles and 14 artillery systems, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to June 17, 2024, are estimated to be:

  • personnel - 527390 (+1080) Russian troops were eliminated;
  • tanks - 7958 (+2) units
  • armored combat vehicles - 15287 (+18) units;
  • artillery systems - 13927 (+14) units;
  • MLRS - 1104 units;
  • air defense systems - 853 units;
  • airplanes - 359 units;
  • helicopters - 326 units;
  • UAVs of operational and tactical level - 11167 (+8) units;
  • cruise missiles - 2296 (+3) units;
  • ships/boats - 28 units;
  • submarines - 1 unit;
  • motor vehicles and tank trucks - 18991 (+24) units;
  • special equipment - 2337 (+12) units.

According to the latest data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russian occupants have significantly increased their efforts in the Pokrovsk sector. The number of clashes has increased to 40, the highest since the beginning of June.

The Institute for War Studies reports that the Russians have advanced to the Aggregate Plant in Vovchansk, Kharkiv region.
