Ukraine's Ministry of Defense has updated its daily count of Russian losses, reporting another 24 hours of intense fighting and continued attrition along the front.

The total Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022, to July 9, 2026, are estimated to be:

  • Personnel - approximately 1,414,820 (+1,310)
  • Tanks ‒ 12,107 (+7)
  • Armored fighting vehicles ‒ 24,906 (+3)
  • Special equipment ‒ 4,402 (+4)
  • Vehicles and fuel tanks ‒ 117,910 (+363)
  • Unmanned ground vehicles ‒ 1,857 (+4)
  • Artillery systems ‒ 45,628 (+59)
  • MLRS ‒ 1,922 (+4)
  • Air defense assets ‒ 1,479 (+1)
  • Aircraft ‒ 437 (+1)
  • Helicopters ‒ 353
  • UAVs (operational-tactical level) ‒ 398,763 (+1,843)
  • Cruise missiles ‒ 4,887
  • Warships and boats ‒ 33
  • Submarines ‒ 2
