Over the past day, from July 6 to July 7, the Russian army lost 1,100 soldiers and 33 artillery systems at the front, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022, to July 7, 2025, are estimated to be:

  • personnel - about 1,027,540 (+1100) people wounded/killed;
  • tanks - 10,995 (+3);
  • troop-carrying AFVs - 22,963 (+7);
  • artillery systems - 29,993 (+33);
  • MLRS - 1,432 (+2);
  • air defense systems - 1,192;
  • aircraft - 421 (+1);
  • helicopters - 340;
  • UAV operational-tactical level - 44,058 (+233);
  • cruise missiles - 3,439;
  • warships/boats - 28;
  • submarines - 1;
  • vehicles and fuel tanks - 54,370 (+118);
  • special equipment - 3,927 (+2).

Situation at the front on July 6

In the evening, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported on the situation at the front, where 149 combat clashes took place since the beginning of the day. In the Pokrovsk sector alone, Russian losses amounted to 117 killed and wounded.

According to the ISW report, Ukrainian troops advanced in the Borova area. Meanwhile, Russian troops advanced in the area of Novopavlivka.
