Russia's losses in Ukraine as of July 30: +1,360 troops and 1,362 drones

Ukraine's Ministry of Defense has released its latest estimate of Russian battlefield losses since the start of the full-scale invasion. The daily update includes casualties among Russian troops and losses across multiple categories of military hardware.
The total Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022, to July 30, 2026, are estimated to be:
- Personnel - nearly 1,444,810 (+1,360)
- Tanks ‒ 12,230 (+3)
- Armored fighting vehicles ‒ 25,049 (+5)
- Special equipment ‒ 4,480 (+2)
- Vehicles and fuel tanks ‒ 127,621 (+440)
- Unmanned ground vehicles ‒ 2,071 (+8)
- Artillery systems ‒ 47,003 (+41)
- MLRS ‒ 1,976 (+3)
- Air defense assets ‒ 1,522 (+1)
- Aircraft ‒ 439
- Helicopters ‒ 354
- UAVs (operational-tactical level) ‒ 434,140 (+1,362)
- Cruise missiles ‒ 4,950
- Warships and boats ‒ 34
- Submarines ‒ 2

Frontline situation
One of the key targets for the recent Ukrainian strike was the Ryazan oil refinery, located in Russia’s Ryazan region. This is one of the largest oil refineries in the country.
Moreover, Ukrainian drones struck 10 power facilities in Crimea and in the occupied territories of the Kherson and Luhansk regions on July 28–29.
