On July 26, the Ukrainian military eliminated 1,210 Russian soldiers. Since the beginning of the invasion, the Armed Forces have destroyed 21,500 vehicles and tanks, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat losses of the Russian military between February 24, 2022, and July 27, 2024, are estimated to be

  • personnel - about 573,510 (+1,210) people were killed;
  • tanks - 8,331 (+11) units;
  • armored combat vehicles - 15,383 (+11) units;
  • artillery systems - 15,885 (+45) units;
  • MLRS - 1,106 units;
  • air defense systems - 905 (+1) units;
  • aircraft - 363 units;
  • helicopters - 326 units;
  • UAVs of operational and tactical level - 12,736 (+53) units;
  • cruise missiles - 2,403 (+1) units;
  • ships/boats - 28 units;
  • submarines - 1 unit;
  • motor vehicles and tankers - 21,500 (+86) units;
  • special equipment - 2,671 (+3) units.

Situation at the front

As of the evening of July 26, 107 combat clashes took place on the frontline. The Russian militants conducted the most intense attacks in the Pokrovsk sector.

According to the Institute for the Study of War, Russian troops recently advanced near Avdiivka. They may have captured Yasnobrodivka and Lozuvatske in the Donetsk region. Russians have also been seen advancing near Svatove in the Luhansk region and near Donetsk.
