Russia's losses in Ukraine as of July 18: +1,180 troops and 47 artillery systems

Over the past day, from July 17 to 18, the Russian army lost more than a thousand soldiers on the front lines, along with a significant amount of equipment, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.
As of July 18, 2025, the total estimated combat losses of the enemy are:
- personnel – about 1,039,830 (+1,180) people wounded/killed;
- tanks – 11,032 (+3) units;
- troop-carrying AFVs – 23,005 (+9) units;
- artillery systems – 30,485 (+47) units;
- MLRS – 1,441 (+1) units;
- anti-aircraft systems – 1,197 units;
- aircraft – 421 units;
- helicopters – 340 units;
- UAV operational-tactical level – 46,549 (+135) units;
- cruise missiles – 3,491 units;
- warships/boats – 28 units;
- submarines – 1 unit;
- vehicles and fuel tanks – 55,494 (+111) units;
- special equipment – 3,932 units.
Situation on frontline
As of yesterday evening, 131 combat clashes were recorded on the front over the course of the day. More than a third of them took place in the Pokrovsk direction.
Since the beginning of the full-scale war, the Russian army losses have already exceeded 1 million personnel.
And in just the previous day, from July 16 to 17, Russian forces lost another 1,190 soldiers in battles against Ukraine. In addition, on that day, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 43 enemy artillery systems and 154 military vehicles and fuel tanks.
