Russia's losses in Ukraine as of July 17: +1,190 troops and 43 artillery systems

Over the past day, from July 16 to 17, Russia lost another 1,190 soldiers in battles against Ukraine. In addition, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 43 artillery systems and 154 vehicles, according to a report by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
As of July 16, 2025, the total estimated combat losses of the enemy are:
- personnel – about 1,038,650 (+1190) people wounded/killed;
- tanks – 11,029 (+4) units;
- troop-carrying AFVs – 22,996 (+1) units;
- artillery systems – 30,438 (+43) units;
- MLRS – 1,440 units;
- anti-aircraft systems – 1,197 (+1) units;
- aircraft – 421 units;
- helicopters – 340 units;
- UAV operational-tactical level – 46,414 (+250) units;
- cruise missiles – 3,491 units;
- warships/boats – 28 units;
- submarines – 1 unit;
- vehicles and fuel tanks – 55,383 (+154) units;
- special equipment – 3,932 units.
