Throughout January 30-31, Russian troops lost 1,670 soldiers in war against Ukraine. In addition, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed 33 Russian artillery systems, 63 drones, and 101 vehicles, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to January 31, 2025, are estimated to be:

  • personnel - about 837,610 (+1,670) Russian troops were eliminated;
  • tanks - 9,893 (+3) units;
  • armored personnel vehicle - 20,631 (+17) units;
  • artillery systems - 22,445 (+33) units;
  • MLRS - 1,265 (+1) units;
  • anti-aircraft warfare systems - 1,050 units;
  • aircraft - 369 units;
  • helicopters - 331 units;
  • UAV operational-tactical level - 23,573 (+63) units;
  • cruise missiles - 3,054 units;
  • warships/boats - 28 units;
  • submarines - 1 unit;
  • vehicles and fuel tanks - 35,552 (+101) units;
  • special equipment - 3,726 (+1) units.

Situation at front

As of the evening of January 30, 125 combat engagements took place at the front. Russian troops were most active in the Pokrovsk sector, where they conducted 51 attacks. In particular, Russians attacked Ukrainian positions in the areas of Malynivka, Yelyzavetivka, Vodiane Druhe, Novotoretske, Promin, Pokrovsk, Lysivka, Novoukrainka, Udachne, Yasenove, Shevchenko and Dachne. Bilytske was hit by a guided missile attack.
