Over the period from January 29 to January 30, Russia lost 1,270 soldiers in combat against the Ukrainian Armed Forces. In addition, the Ukrainian army destroyed 17 Russian artillery systems, 54 drones, and 85 vehicles, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to January 30, 2025, are estimated to be:

  • personnel - about 835,940 (+1,270) Russian troops were eliminated;
  • tanks - 9,890 (+4);
  • armored personnel vehicle - 20,614 (+17);
  • artillery systems - 22,412 (+17);
  • MLRS - 1,264;
  • anti-aircraft warfare systems - 1,050;
  • aircraft - 369;
  • helicopters - 331;
  • UAV operational-tactical level - 23,510 (+54);
  • cruise missiles - 3,054;
  • warships/boats - 28;
  • submarines - 1;
  • motor vehicles and fuel tanks - 35,451 (+85);
  • special equipment - 3,725 (+4).

Situation at front

As of 10 p.m. Kyiv time, January 29, 152 combat engagements occurred at the front. As before, the most tense situation is in the Pokrovsk sector, where the Russian occupants attacked the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces 67 times in the areas of Vodiane Druhe, Yelyzavetivka, Myroliubivka, Lysivka, Vidrodzhennia, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Kotliarivka, Andriivka, Dachne and Ulakly.
