Russia's losses in Ukraine as of January 6: +1,550 troops and 14 tanks

As of Monday morning, January 6, Russia has lost about 798,040 soldiers in the war with Ukraine. More than 20,000 enemy armored personnel vehicles were also destroyed, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.
The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to January 6, 2025, are estimated to be:
- personnel - about 798,040 (+1,550) Russian troops were eliminated;
- tanks - 9,700 (+14);
- armored personnel vehicle - 20,164 (+45);
- artillery systems - 21,665 (+62);
- MLRS - 1,258 (+1);
- anti-aircraft warfare systems - 1,034 (+2);
- airplanes - 369;
- helicopters - 331;
- UAV operational-tactical level - 21,625 (+178);
- cruise missiles - 3,006;
- warships/boats - 28;
- submarines - 1;
- vehicles and fuel tanks - 33,056 (+116);
- special equipment - 3,681 (+4).
As previously reported, as of 10:00 p.m. on January 5, there had been 177 combat clashes at the front. More than half of them were in the Pokrovsk and Kursk directions.
