Russia's losses in the war against Ukraine as of Friday morning, January 5, amounted to 790 occupants, bringing the total number of Russian army losses since the beginning of the invasion to 363,070. In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 18 drones, 30 artillery systems, and 40 vehicles, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Total enemy combat losses from 02/24/22 to 01/05/24 are estimated to be
- personnel - about 363,070 (+790) Russians were killed;
- tanks - 6011 (+9) units;
- armored combat vehicles - 11142 (+14) units;
- artillery systems - 8604 (+30) units;
- MLRS - 949 (+2) units;
- air defense systems - 631 (+1) units;
- airplanes - 329 units;
- helicopters - 324 units;
- UAVs of operational and tactical level - 6771 (+18) units;
- cruise missiles - 1786 (+1) units;
- ships/boats - 23 units;
- submarines - 1 unit;
- motor vehicles and tank trucks - 11463 (+40) units;
- special equipment - 1313 (+9) units.
Situation on the front
According to the General Staff, Ukrainian troops repelled 32 Russian attacks in the Avdiivka direction, and continue to expand the bridgehead in the Kherson direction. Aviation destroyed 4 enemy artillery units.
