Russia's losses in Ukraine as of February 25: +1,300 troops, 122 drones, 26 artillery systems

Over the past day, from February 24 to 25, the Russian army lost 1,300 soldiers, 26 artillery systems, and 122 unmanned aerial vehicles in the war against Ukraine, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.
The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to February 25, 2025, are estimated to be:
- personnel - about 869,530 (+1,300) Russian troops were eliminated;
- tanks -10,182 (+5);
- armored personnel vehicles - 21,168 (+11);
- artillery systems - 23,652 (+26);
- MLRS - 1,299;
- anti-aircraft warfare systems - 1,083 (+2);
- aircraft - 370;
- helicopters - 331;
- UAVs operational-tactical level - 26,767 (+122);
- cruise missiles - 3,064;
- warships/boats - 28;
- submarines - 1;
- motor vehicles and tanks - 38,582 (+138);
- special equipment - 3,759 (+2).
Situation on frontline and Russian air attacks
According to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), Russian forces had success in three directions in the Donetsk region and also advanced in the Kursk region.
Last night, the Russians attacked Ukraine with Shahed-type kamikaze drones.
In Kyiv region, UAVs damaged houses and injured a woman.
In Sumy, a drone struck a residential area, wounding two people.
In the morning, enemy aviation attacked Ukraine with cruise missiles launched from Tu-95 bombers. Explosions were heard in the Cherkasy and Zhytomyr regions.
