Russia's losses in Ukraine as of February 4: +1,270 troops, 92 drones, 66 artillery systems
From February 3 to 4, Russian troops lost 1,270 soldiers in the war against Ukraine. The Ukrainian Armed Forces also destroyed 18 Russian tanks and 66 artillery systems, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to February 4, 2025, are estimated to be:
- personnel - about 842,930 (+1,270) Russian troops were eliminated;
- tanks - 9,938 (+18);
- armored personnel vehicle - 20,709 (+24);
- artillery systems - 22,655 (+66);
- MLRS - 1,269 (+1);
- anti-aircraft warfare systems - 1,053;
- aircraft - 369;
- helicopters - 331;
- UAV operational-tactical level - 24,003 (+92);
- cruise missiles - 3,054;
- warships/boats - 28;
- submarines - 1;
- vehicles and tanks - 35,921 (+123);
- special equipment - 3,733 (+2).
Situation at front
As of 10 p.m. Kyiv time, February 3, 94 combat engagements took place at the front since the beginning of the day. Russian troops carried out 70 airstrikes with 106 aerial bombs. The Russians also used 833 kamikaze drones and fired 4,767 times at Ukrainian troops' positions and populated areas. Most of the fighting was recorded in the Pokrovsk sector. In particular, Russian invaders tried to break through our defense 27 times near 13 settlements.
