Russia's losses in Ukraine as of February 3: +1,300 troops, 118 drones, 51 artillery systems

During the day from February 2 to February 3, Russian troops lost 1,300 soldiers in the war against Ukraine. The Ukrainian Armed Forces also destroyed 12 tanks and 51 artillery systems, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to February 3, 2025, are estimated to be:
- personnel - about 841,660 (+1,300) Russian troops were eliminated;
- tanks - 9,920 (+12);
- armored personnel vehicle - 20,685 (+18);
- artillery systems - 22,589 (+51);
- MLRS - 1,268 (+1);
- air defense systems - 1,053 (+3);
- aircraft - 369;
- helicopters - 331;
- UAV operational-tactical level - 23,911 (+118);
- cruise missiles - 3,054;
- warships/boats - 28;
- submarines - 1;
- vehicles and fuel tanks - 35,798 (+89);
- special equipment - 3,731 (+2).
Situation at front
As of 10 p.m., February 2, 93 combat engagements took place in the frontline, almost half of them, as in the previous days, were registered in the Pokrovsk sector. In particular, Russians attacked 39 times.
Ukraine's General Staff reported that in this area, Russians were active in the areas of Zelene Pole, Tarasivka, Uspenivka, Yelyzavetivka, Vodiane Druhe, Myroliubivka, Promin, Kotliarivka, Oleksiivka, Dachne and Ulakly. In turn, Ukrainian troops eliminated 156 Russian invaders and wounded 195 more.
