Over the past 24 hours, December 29, the Russian losses in the war against Ukraine amounted to 2,010 units of manpower. In particular, Ukraine's Defense Forces destroyed seven tanks, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.

The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to December 30, 2024, are estimated to be:

  • personnel - about 787,940 (+2,010) Russian troops were eliminated;
  • tanks - 9,663 (+7);
  • armored personnel vehicle - 20,003 (+22);
  • artillery systems - 21,494 (+44);
  • MLRS - 1,256;
  • anti-aircraft warfare systems - 1,032;
  • airplanes - 369;
  • helicopters - 329;
  • UAV operational-tactical level - 21,069 (+31);
  • cruise missiles - 3,003;
  • warships/boats - 28;
  • submarines - 1;
  • vehicles and fuel tanks - 32,551 (+141);
  • special equipment - 3,670.

Russia's losses in full-scale war against Ukraine

Back in early December, Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin, during the Ronald Reagan National Defense Forum, claimed that Russia's losses since the start of the full-scale war exceeded 700,000 military personnel. In particular, Austin said that the enemy had spent more than $200 billion on the war in total.
