Russia's losses in Ukraine as of December 30: 750 troops and over a dozen artillery systems
Russia's losses in the war in Ukraine as of Saturday morning, December 30, amounted to 750 occupants, bringing the total number of Russian army losses since the beginning of the invasion to 358,270. In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 16 tanks, 15 UAVs and 20 armored combat vehicles, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat losses of the enemy from 24.02.22 to 30.12.23 are estimated to be:
- personnel - about 358,270 (+750) killed;
- tanks - 5,969 (+16) units;
- armored combat vehicles - 11,053 (+20) units;
- artillery systems - 8,434 (+17) units;
- MLRS - 939 (+1) units;
- air defense systems - 621 (+1) units;
- airplanes - 329 units;
- helicopters - 324 units;
- UAVs of operational and tactical level - 6554 (+15) units;
- cruise missiles - 1,708 (+88) units;
- ships/boats - 23 units;
- submarines - 1 unit;
- motor vehicles and tankers - 11,244 (+29) units;
- special equipment - 1,260 (+6) units.
The situation at the frontline
According to a report from the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), the Ukrainian Defense Forces advanced to the south of Spirne, 27 kilometers northeast of Bakhmut.
According to the data of the BBC investigators, at least five senior officers of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation were eliminated during the war in Ukraine in the last two weeks.
