Russia's losses in Ukraine as of December 25: Over 700 occupants and 2 aircraft
Russia's losses in the war against Ukraine as of Monday morning, December 25, amounted to 760 occupants. The total number of Russian army losses since the beginning of the invasion is approximately 353,950. In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 2 aircraft and 33 artillery systems of the enemy, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat losses of the enemy from 24.02.22 to 25.12.23 are estimated to be:
- personnel - about 353,950 (+760) people were killed;
- tanks - 5877 (+19) units
- armored combat vehicles - 10919 (+31) units;
- artillery systems - 8347 (+33) units;
- MLRS - 9934 (+2) units;
- air defense systems - 613 (+2) units;
- aircraft - 329 (+2) units;
- helicopters - 324 units;
- UAVs of operational and tactical level - 6436 (+32) units;
- cruise missiles - 1616 (+2) units;
- ships/boats - 22 units;
- submarines - 1 unit;
- motor vehicles and tankers - 11075 (+53) units;
- special equipment - 1234 (+5) units.
The situation at the frontline
According to the General Staff, 66 combat engagements were recorded in Ukraine's frontline over the last day. Ukrainian defenders repelled dozens of Russian attacks near Avdiivka and destroyed two enemy fighter-bombers.
According to a report by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), Ukrainian forces are holding positions in the eastern (left bank) of the Kherson region. Positional fighting continues in the area of Krynky.
