Russia's losses in Ukraine as of August 4: +1,150 troops and 59 artillery systems

In the past 24 hours, on August 4, Russia lost 1,150 military personnel in its war against Ukraine. Additionally, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 59 artillery systems, 17 armored fighting vehicles, and 5 tanks, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to August 4, 2024, are estimated to be:
- personnel - about 582,910 (+1,150) Russian troops were eliminated;
- tanks - 8,411 (+5);
- armored personnel vehicles - 16,255 (+17);
- artillery systems - 16,276 (+59);
- MLRS - 1,138 (+3);
- anti-aircraft warfare systems - 911 (+3);
- aircraft - 363;
- helicopters - 326;
- UAVs of operational-tactical level - 13,103 (+41);
- cruise missiles - 2,412 (+2);
- ships/boats - 28;
- submarines - 1;
- motor vehicles and fuel tanks - 22,006 (+80);

It is worth noting that, according to British intelligence, Russia has suffered its heaviest losses on the front lines in the past three months. Although in July, the average daily losses of Russian forces decreased.
