Over the past 24 hours, from August 30 to 31, Russian occupiers lost another 810 soldiers. In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed nearly 40 cruise missiles and 83 vehicles, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.

The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to August 31, 2025, are estimated to be:

  • Personnel - approximately 1,082,140 (+810) Russian troops were eliminated;
  • Tanks - 11,151(+2);
  • Troop-carrying AFVs - 23,212 (+2);
  • Artillery systems - 32,199 (+27);
  • MLRS - 1,476;
  • Anti-aircraft systems - 1,213;
  • Aircraft - 422;
  • Helicopters - 340;
  • UAV operational-tactical level - 55,062 (+371);
  • Cruise missiles - 3,664 (+38);
  • Warships/boats - 28;
  • Submarines - 1;
  • Vehicles and fuel tanks - 60,305(+83);
  • Special equipment - 3,952.

Situation at the front

According to the latest data from the General Staff, as of the evening of August 30, the heaviest fighting is taking place in two directions — Pokrovsk and Lyman, with 38 and 24 clashes respectively.

On August 29, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy provided more details about the situation in the Pokrovsk direction. According to him, more than 100,000 Russian soldiers have been concentrated there. The situation also remains dangerous in the Zaporizhzhia direction.

It should be noted that for several consecutive days the enemy army has been losing more than 800 troops per day, and since the start of the full-scale invasion, Russian losses have already exceeded 1 million soldiers.
