Over the past day, from August 29 to 30, Russian occupiers lost an additional 850 personnel. The Armed Forces of Ukraine also destroyed 316 drones and nearly 50 artillery systems, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.

The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to August 30, 2025, are estimated to be:

  • Personnel - approximately 1,081,330 (+850) Russian troops were eliminated;
  • Tanks - 11,149 (+6);
  • Troop-carrying AFVs - 23,210 (+19);
  • Artillery systems - 32,172 (+47);
  • MLRS - 1,476;
  • Anti-aircraft systems - 1,213;
  • Aircraft - 422;
  • Helicopters - 340;
  • UAV operational-tactical level - 54,691 (+316);
  • Cruise missiles - 3,626;
  • Warships/boats - 28;
  • Submarines - 1;
  • Vehicles and fuel tanks - 60,222 (+106);
  • Special equipment - 3,952.

Situation on the front

As a reminder, as of the evening of August 29, 120 combat engagements were recorded on the front. The most fighting occurred in the Lyman and Pokrovsk directions, with 25 and 33 engagements respectively.
