Russia's losses in Ukraine as of April 8: About 900 invaders and 13 tanks

The Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminated another 890 Russian occupiers over the day, bringing the total enemy losses in personnel since the beginning of the large-scale invasion to approximately 448,400 soldiers. Additionally, the Defense Forces destroyed another 13 tanks and 40 artillery systems of the aggressors, reports the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The total combat Russian losses from 24.02.22 to 08.04.24 are estimated to be:
- personnel - about 448,400 (+890) Russian invaders were killed;
- tanks - 7,087 (+13) units;
- armored combat vehicles - 13,575 (+24) units;
- artillery systems - 11,356 (+40) units;
- MLRS - 1,039 (+3) units;
- air defense systems - 751 (+2) units;
- airplanes - 347 units;
- helicopters - 325 units;
- UAVs of operational and tactical level - 8,996 (+40) units;
- cruise missiles - 2,065 (+1) units;
- ships/boats - 26 units;
- submarines - 1 unit;
- motor vehicles and tankers - 15,110 (+39) units;
- special equipment - 1,867 (+3) units.
Situation at the front
Earlier the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that there were 76 clashes during the day on the front line in Ukraine.
It is also noted that the Novopavlivskyi direction remains the hottest - there, the Russian forces, supported by aviation, attempted to break through the defense of Ukrainian soldiers 22 times.
