Russia's losses in the war in Ukraine as of Monday morning, April 29, amount to 1,320 occupiers, with the total number of losses of the Russian army since the invasion beginning totaling 467,470 military personnel. Additionally, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 44 enemy vehicles and 37 artillery systems, according to the Strategic Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The overall Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022, to April 29, 2024 are estimated as follows:

  • Personnel - approximately 467,470 (+1,320) individuals;
  • Tanks - 7,285 (+6) units;
  • APV (Armored personnel vehicles) - 14,007 (+16) units;
  • Artillery systems - 11,985 (+37) units;
  • MLRS (Multiple launch rocket systems) - 1,051 (+1) unit;
  • Anti aircraft warfare systems - 778 (+2) units;
  • Aircraft - 348 units;
  • Helicopters - 325 units;
  • UAV operational-tactical level - 9,528 (+21) units;
  • Cruise missiles - 2,124 units;
  • Warships/boats - 26 units;
  • Submarines - 1 unit;
  • Vehicles and fuel tankers - 16,109 (+44) units;
  • Special equipment - 1,974 (+3) units.

Frontline situation

According to the Institute for the Study of War, Ukrainian Armed Forces have recently advanced in the area of Veletenske (southwest of Kherson).

There were 131 combat engagements on the front in Ukraine during the past day. Missile forces struck one area of enemy personnel concentration.
