Russia's losses in the war in Ukraine as of Saturday morning, April 27, amount to 1124 troops, bringing the total number of Russian army losses since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine to 465,054. In addition, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 6 tanks, 38 enemy artillery systems and 24 UAVs, according to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The total combat Russian losses from 24.02.22 to 27.04.24 are estimated to be:

  • personnel - about 465,054 (+1124) Russian troops were killed;
  • tanks - 7268 (+6) units;
  • armored combat vehicles - 13,971 (+14) units;
  • artillery systems - 11,905 (+38) units;
  • MLRS - 1049 units;
  • air defense systems - 775 (+3) units;
  • airplanes - 348 units;
  • helicopters - 325 units;
  • UAVs of operational and tactical level - 9485 (+24) units;
  • cruise missiles - 2124 (+5) units;
  • ships/boats - 26 units;
  • submarines - 1 unit;
  • motor vehicles and tankers - 16,019 (+35) units;
  • special equipment - 1,968 (+6) units.

Situation at frontline

In Ukraine, there were 94 combat clashes on the front line during the day. The enemy intensified attacks on practically all eastern fronts.

According to the Institute for the Study of War, Russian occupiers are advancing in Donetsk region, particularly northwest of Avdiivka. Ukrainian Armed Forces are monitoring the enemy's intentions to bypass Chasiv Yar and create conditions for rapid encirclement.
