Russia's losses in Ukraine as of April 26: 950 troops and 31 artillery systems

Russia's losses in the war in Ukraine as of Friday morning, April 26, amount to 950 troops, bringing the total number of Russian army losses since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine to 463,930. In addition, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 35 vehicles and 31 enemy artillery systems, according to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The total combat Russian losses from 24.02.22 to 26.04.24 are estimated to be:
- personnel - about 463,930 (+950) Russian troops were killed;
- tanks - 7262 (+7) units;
- armored combat vehicles - 13,957 (+15) units;
- artillery systems - 11,867 (+31) units;
- MLRS - 1049 units;
- air defense systems - 772 units;
- airplanes - 348 units;
- helicopters - 325 units;
- UAVs of operational and tactical level - 9461 (+12) units;
- cruise missiles - 2119 (+1) units;
- ships/boats - 26 units;
- submarines - 1 unit;
- motor vehicles and tankers - 15,984 (+35) units;
- special equipment - 1,962 (+16) units.
Situation at frontline
According to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), Russian troops could further stabilize their advance northwest of Avdiivka and move further west of Ocheretyne, making it increasingly difficult for Ukrainian forces to hold their positions along the Berdychi-Semenivka-Umansk line.
In Ukraine, 114 combat engagements took place on the frontline over the last day. Ukrainian aviation destroyed 3 Russian anti-aircraft missile systems.
