Today's frontline update points to intensified fighting

Russian military lost 960 servicemembers in the past day alone, according to a news report from Ukraine's General Staff. The new numbers indicate continuous fighting amid the promised Easter ceasefire.
The total Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022, to April 13, 2026, are estimated to be:
- Personnel — nearly 1,312,140 (+960);
- Tanks — 11,861 (+2);
- Armored combat vehicles — 24,386 (+2);
- Artillery systems — 39,915 (+44);
- Multiple-launch rocket systems — 1,728 (+1);
- Air defense systems — 1,346 (+1);
- Aircraft — 435;
- Helicopters — 350;
- Operational-tactical UAVs — 235,394 (+1,528);
- Cruise missiles — 4,517;
- Ships/boats — 33;
- Submarines — 2;
- Automotive equipment and fuel tanks — 89,099 (+185);
- Special equipment — 4,123 (+2).

Frontline situation
Despite Russia’s declared Easter ceasefire, hostilities on the frontline did not stop. As of the morning of April 12, more than 2,000 clashes had taken place along the frontlines, according to Ukraine's General Staff.
Moreover, the Russian army targeted an ambulance, and three medics were hurt in the Sumy region.
