Frontline situation

Despite heavy losses, the Russian army is trying to turn the tide of the fighting, says Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi. Ukrainian defenders are inflicting maximum losses on the enemy and wearing it down.

For the Easter holidays, Russian president Vladimir Putin decided on a ceasefire with Ukraine. It will be in effect from 4 pm on April 11 until the end of the day on April 12. Given previous Russian violations of ceasefire agreements, Ukrainian troops are ready to respond symmetrically to any strikes and provocations.
