Russia puts Zelenskyy wanted. Ukraine advises Moscow to search for common sense
The Russian Interior Ministry has put Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on the wanted list. In response, the President's Office advised Russians to look for common sense.
The Russian news agency RIA Novosti published a screenshot from the Russian Interior Ministry's database of Zelenskyy's wanted list. According to the Russian Interior Ministry's database, the reason for the wanted notice was an alleged criminal case against Zelenskyy in Russia.
The Ukrainian President's office has already responded to this attack by Russian security forces. In a comment to RBC-Ukraine, the Ukrainian president's spokesperson advised the Russian Interior Ministry to "first look for conscience and common sense."
Resentment for the warrant for Putin
Last year, the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin for the forced deportation of Ukrainian children to Russia. In response, Russian security forces put the ICC judge who signed the arrest warrant for Putin on the wanted list.
In addition, last year, the Russians put on the wanted list the former chief of the Armed Forces, Valeriy Zaluzhnyi, and the former commander of the Land Forces, Oleksandr Syrskyi.
At the end of March 2024, Russia put the head of the SSU, Vasyl Maliuk, on the wanted list. The Russians accused him of "terrorism" for the operations that the SSU was conducting in Russia.
