Russia continues to prepare resources for the new shelling of Ukraine. The attackers do not change their tactics, reports the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council Andrii Kovalenko.
“The enemy, unfortunately, does not change its tactics and has prepared resources for new shelling of Ukraine at strategic aviation airfields,” Kovalenko said.
The head of the Center emphasized that real economic and military pressure on Moscow is needed to stop these actions.
“Only through force, physical destruction of Russian military capabilities, or economic restriction of Russia's ability to conduct terrorist strikes,” he said.
Shelling of Ukraine's energy sector
This year, Russia has carried out more than ten attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure. This, in turn, caused a shortage of capacity during peak hours.
On November 28, Russian troops launched another massive attack on Ukraine's energy infrastructure. The shelling damaged facilities in 14 regions of the country.
As a result, blackout schedules have been introduced across Ukraine.
