Russia massively strikes Kyiv with drones: Consequences revealed

On the night of September 26, Russian troops launched a large-scale attack on Kyiv with Shahed drones. The Russian attack damaged civilian buildings and infrastructure in the city, according to the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Serhii Popko.
The Ukrainian Air Defense Forces recorded that more than a dozen Russian drones were heading toward the capital. Combat operations in Kyiv's airspace on its outskirts lasted for 5 hours.
According to Popko, about a dozen Russian attack drones were neutralized by Ukrainian air defense forces and means. The Ukrainian Air Force will disclose the exact number and type of Russian drones in its reports.
Consequences of Russian attack
As a result of today's Russian attack on the Pecherskyi district of Kyiv, a gas pipe in a residential building was depressurized due to shrapnel. In addition, about 20 cars were damaged.
Debris also fell on the territory of a kindergarten.
Russian Shahed attack
The air raid alert in Kyiv was announced at around 2 a.m.
During the night, explosions were repeatedly heard in the city due to the work of Ukrainian Air Defense Forces.
