Russia has developed plans to disrupt the supply of Western equipment to Ukraine. The occupiers have tried several times to do this, but failed, says Kyrylo Budanov, Chief of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine.

"We know for a fact that plans to destabilize the situation and disrupt the supply systems of Western weapons have been developed and are in place. We know certain elements because of our intelligence work. They are planning, it's normal, they are developing plans," he said.

According to Budanov, the Russians have tried several times to disrupt the supply of equipment to Ukraine, but to no avail.

"If a political decision is made to take such actions, they will be ready," the DIU chief said, adding that it is difficult to predict such decisions.

Delays in the supply of shells

In early May 2023, the EU Council approved a decision to provide one billion euros in aid to Ukraine for joint purchases of ammunition and missiles.

It was planned that European countries would provide Ukraine with one million shells by March 2024. It is now known that the EU countries failed to fulfill the plan in full. According to Bloomberg, the EU will be able to provide Ukraine with 600,000 rounds of ammunition by March.

At the same time, the EU believes that starting next year, it will be able to produce up to 2 million artillery rounds annually for Ukraine.
